It saddened me deeply to come across Peter's Obituary on the Blair & Son Page. I have fond memories of childhood hockey trips with the Peckham family and want to wish my sincerest sympathies.

Peter was a great guy. I was lucky enough to belong to the “Eastern Block” along with Peter and other OECTA Presidents from our region. He was a committed leader and teacher advocate and most importantly had a great sense of humour my sincere condolences
It was such a pleasure to work with Peter in the eastern region group of local OECTA presidents. Always a gentleman, with a mischievous smile and sharp wit, it was a pleasure to be in his company. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
I am so sorry to hear of Peter’s passing. My condolences to you, Maggie, and to your children and all your family and friends. I was so lucky to have worked with Peter in the Eastern OECTA office. He was a passionate union leader and great mentor. I loved working with him- he was indeed a gentle soul, with such a wicked sense of humour. We shared so many laughs, and liked to talk about carpentry, canoeing, and family. May he rest in peace.
Im so sorry that Peter is no longer with us. Peter was always a gentleman and loved his family dearly. I know my brother Gerard, Peter's next door neighbour will be missing him. Sorry to the family that I was unable to attend the service

Peter was a good friend. I enjoyed many years ago playing lob ball ( Kitley No Names ) and all the fun times that went with it. We will certainly miss him at Kitley Elders. We will miss his jokes and smiles. Frank and Nancy Seed

Mr Peckham was one of my more enjoyable teachers back in the old school and the transition to the new one in the 1990s.
He was good people. My condolences to Jason, Jennie and Liam and family.
I am saddened to here about Peter's passing...He taught me at St John's when it was beside the elementary school in Perth in 1986/1987...What a wonderful teacher and mentor...May God guide him through his journey through the gates of heaven....sincere condolences to his family and loved ones
Our sincere condolences to the entire Peckham Family. We had a great visit with "Mr. Peckham" this summer at our Grade 9 reunion, which we are so thankful for. Peter was definitely one of our all time favourite teachers.
