Debbie and I worked together for many years. She was a true professional and I enjoyed my workwiths with her. She knew everyone in Smith Falls and Kemptville and always had great insights to share. I have known Debbie for over 50 years. Our paths crossed from her first job as a student until her current position. She always had such a kind smile and so easy to talk to. She really cared about others. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathies to her sister Mary and her children and her grandchildren. She was certainly a Special Lady.
So sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Debbie.We were in the same homeroom and had the same birthday,hung out at Woolworths for lunch on our special day and I also worked with Debbie at Scotts Chicken Villa. She was a cheerful sweet person. She always contacted me on Facebook to wish me a Happy Birthday 'twin'. I'll miss that.

I was so very deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Debbie’s sudden passing. We met many years ago when we worked side by side in stores at County Fair Mall and I remember well our fun conversations each day. Debbie had a way of making you feel special with her warm smile and how she asked about your family. We still saw each other over the years and were always happy to catch up on our lives and revisit old times. I hope the wonderful and loving memories you have of Debbie will help to sustain you in the long days ahead. Heaven has gained a very special angel.
My condolences to Tori, Carter, Mary, and families. Debbie was a kind, generous and thoughtful person. When my family was new to the area, Deb took me under her wing. It was much appreciated. We had some great chats and lots of laughs selling 50/50 tickets for hockey. She will be missed.

I'm totally saddened by this news. I just seen her at Walmart before Christmas.
She was a beautiful & patient person who always had a beaming smile & open to a chat.
I first met Debbie at The Record News when I started in sales. I was placed under her training & mentoring, these moments have stayed with me with fond memories. I continued having contact with her in sales for many years. Her presence will truly be missed.
