Myrna -Lynn Bowker

Myrna gave up her long and courageous fight against Picks disease on January 4th with Billy at her side. Myrna loved her children Derek, Cassidy and Courtney, she spent her life looking over them. She was Billy’s girl for 50 years of marriage. Myrna was simply the best mother and wife any family could ask for. She was always happy helping others or knitting hundreds of hats for each of her children’s hockey teams. She gave so much of herself to all of us or anyone that needed a smile to pick them up. Myrna loved getting ready for Christmas, birthdays and her  grandchildren, spending time at the cottage filled  her heart.  It was family time that made her shine. She loved the outdoors and her time on the Pagwa river and the beaches of  Belize with Billy, they were a team.

Myrna was taken from all of us and her seven grandchildren far too early. We are all thankful for the time Myrna shared her life with each of us, she gave us so much to make us strong.  We will protect the special  memories Myrna created for each of us.

In remembrance of Myrna, contributions to Carleton Place Girls Hockey Association http://cpgha.ca/ would be appreciated.
