It is with deep sorrow that the family of Marguerite Elizabeth Cameron (nee Kerr) announce her peaceful passing with her family by her side on May 10th, 2025. Marguerite was predeceased by her husband James Murray Cameron, siblings sister Lillian Ireton (Balfour, Reynolds) and brother George Kerr. Survived by daughters Angela Knapp (David), Kathy Budau (Kurt), grandchildren Cortney and Scott Budau (Andrea), Melissa Knapp and loving G.G. to Adalyn Budau, and Cohen Knapp. Also survived by her sister Helen Fisher (Lloyd) and many nieces and nephews. Angela and Kathy wish to extend their gratitude to all family and close friends who supported them throughout Marguerite’s illness. Special appreciation to Helen and Karen Fisher and Steacy Wolfe who spent countless hours helping out with her care and comfort. Our mother touched many lives during her lifetime and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A private family burial will take place at Highland Line Cemetery. All are welcome to join for a Reception and Celebration of Marguerite’s Life, Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Church Hall, Smiths Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
