Wark, R. Wayne
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of R. Wayne Wark, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 71 years.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 52 years Wendy, his son Phil (Nicki) and their 5 children James, Emily, Audrey, Abram and Asher and also his son Colin; his brothers Scott (Gina) and Donnie (Nelda), his brothers-in-law Wayne Reid (Linda), Stephen Brydges (Maryann), Tom Reid (Tammy). Wayne was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Margaret (nee Burns), his sister Frances Carpenter and her husband Bruce, his brother-in-law Allan and his wife Donna. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Wayne worked at 3M Perth Plant 301 for over 30 years, a job that he truly enjoyed. He retired in 2020. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors and after retirement went to the cabin daily. He enjoyed his sawmill and working with wood. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his hunting buddies.
A service and burial will take place at a later date, to be announced.
