My heart-felt sympathy of the loss of your dear mother and mother in law. She was a dear friend to many people. I was glad I saw her last week,and had a little visit with her. I myself am just coming back from a second trip for surgery on my knee,so unfortunately am unable to attend her service. I know Allie would be the first person to understand!! She was always after me to take care of myself. Your mother was a woman of faith,so you will see her again one day in a better world,free from sorrow. John,your mother always spoke so proudly of you and Lorraine. You were the light of her life. We shall miss her at the Lodge,and the Legion members I know will feel a loss as well. God bless you as you face this difficult time. I pray that pleasant memories will comfort you.This year,as always I will wear a poppy with pride...but even have more reason to now,as I know she was a dilligent worker on behalf of the legion.
