I have only good memories with you guys and Mary Ann. Going to PJs, the lake and in town. She was the first person I turned to when my grandmother died. She was unfailingly kind. She was wickedly funny. She helped hit home run derbies when no one else would. I loved her and I love you guys. I miss her.

My deepest sympathies to the Nicholson and McNamee families. Mary Anne has been a part of my life for 25 years - as a mentor, friend and boss. Regardless of how busy she was, one could always knock on her door for a friendly chat or a bit of advice. She was a great listener. She was so very proud of her family and adored her grand children. She was a great advocate for our seniors, making sure they had what they needed, not ever knowing the background politics. Her motto was definitely "Clients first!". We will miss her very much.

I am so shocked and saddened. Mary Anne and I were good friends in high school. We had lots of wonderful times together which always included lots of laughing. Very sorry to hear of Mary Anne's passing. I have a memory from many years ago. I was quite young and stayed over night at Pete and Mary's house. Our parents (Paul and Phyllis Noonan) all went out for the evening. I was a bit of a sick kid back then. All night long I was throwing up and Mary Anne took such good care of me, just like my Mom would do. Sending love and prayers to Mary Anne's entire family.

I remember going to a “Three Dog Night” Concert in Ottawa back in the 70’s with Mary Anne, Suzy Sullivan and Patty McNamara. We all had Bic lighters for the big encore! We were driving home in a Dodge Colt and almost got smoked by a friggin horse on Hwy 7 in the fog!!! What a blast!!
I know there are lots of stories to tell of time gone past!

Thank you for being you no matter what anyone else thought. Thank you for teaching me to stand up for everything I believe in, even if I was the only one standing.
