Obituary of Neil Richard Manery

Neil Manery, a loving husband, father, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the age of 81 years young.  

Neil was born in Leamington Ontario to parents Ivan and Dorothy Manery on October 20, 1943.  He was known for his passion for big projects to fix things around the house. Although started, often not completed, despite his intentions, his wife Michele accepted the cupboards would never have doors.  He loved baseball (also shared this love of the game with his dear wife Michele), hockey, golf, fishing, boating, working on many house projects, camping, traveling, playing euchre and being surrounded by dogs and cats.

Neil is survived by his children, Christine (Shane) and Mark (Christine), his brother, Woody (Patricia) and several nephews and nieces.

He is predeceased by his parents Ivan and Dorothy Manery, brothers Glen, Lyle, Grant, and sisters-in-law Betty and Lilas and the love of his life wife Michèle (2014).

Thank you Dad for encouraging us to follow our dreams and passions and teaching us how to experience life and cherish all the moments.  You will be dearly missed by family and friends. Special thank you to all the caregivers at Broadview Nursing Home for providing outstanding care and compassion.
