I still can’t wrap my head around what has happened. My heart goes out to you and David, Heather. Matt was like family to me and Mitchell. He made high school bearable for us both. He taught me how to play basketball and even helped me make the basketball team. We would hangout almost everyday day, playing basketball, or going to Moxies for dinner with the guys. We miss you already Matt…

I did not no Mathew, but by read his obituary, it seems like God himself need him at his side, he truly sounds like an angel here on earth. Sometimes the true spirits are need in another place, Bless his family for having him in there lives until they meet again.

We are so very saddened to hear of Matt’s passing. We remember him fondly from when he went to school with our two eldest sons - Mitchell and Brandon. The boys would spend hours playing basketball, hanging out, swimming and having bonfires. You and David will remain in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate this unimaginable loss. I am so profoundly heartbroken to hear of Matt's passing. My heart goes out to your entire family. Matt was a kind young man throughout the years of knowing him and hanging out with Shaq.
