Obituary of Roger Joseph Villeneuve

Passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre, Smiths Falls on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the age of 79.  Loving and devoted husband of Sharon Forbes.  Roger was the proud father of Shelly (Daryl) Alexander and Bryan (Sofia) Villeneuve.  Cherished grandfather of Noah, Jonah and Cole Villeneuve, and Hudson and Blake Alexander.   He will be fondly remembered by his step-son Mike Patry (Tonya), his sister Lise (Cecil) Butler and his brother Robert Villeneuve.  He is predeceased by his parents Rosaire and Dalma (nee Emard) Villeneuve, and his sisters Marie-Paule Lacail, and Huguette Patry and his brother Emille Villeneuve.  Roger will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family as well as Sharon’s entire family and extended family.  Roger’s family would like to thank all of the staff at Broadview Nursing Centre for their outstanding care and concern during Roger’s last few months. There will be a Celebration of Life for Roger at the Royal Candian Legion Stittsville Branch 618, 1481 Stittsville Main St. Stittsville on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.
