Condolence to Ron's family. As a fellow police officer, I had partnered with Ron for two years, He had such a tremendous sense of humour and was so much fun to work with.
We often discussed our mutual love of hunting and fishing.
Ron will be safely missed.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Ron’s passing and would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.
As a fellow police officer, I had the privilege of crossing paths with Ron on many occasions, even when we worked opposite shifts. His unwavering politeness, genuine courtesy, and readiness to help in any situation left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Ron truly exemplified what it means to be a dedicated officer—a loyal colleague and a steadfast friend, always there when you needed him most.
While his absence leaves a significant void in our community, I take solace in the thought that he has now joined the ranks of the great officers at heaven’s gate, watching over us and guiding us as he always did during his time among us.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find strength and comfort in the cherished memories you shared with Ron.
With deepest sympathy,
James mckenna

A valued colleague and loyal friend for the past fifty years, during which we not only worked together, but enjoyed many personal moments, such as hunting rips, or just having a beer or two together. He has had a struggle over the last few years, and I cherished our weekly visits over the past several months, where we reminisced times gone by and discussed our solutions for the current global problems. I will miss all those good times but know that he is no longer suffering and is now at peace. He was respected by all his brother Officers and always put forward a 100% effort in whatever duty he assumed.
My sincere condolences to Paula, Kim, and Todd along with the rest of the family. There is no doubt that he will be missed, and I urge everyone to remember all the good times together, as I will be doing. RIP my friend. I will miss you.

So sorry to hear about Ron's passing. It is a difficult time for his family. I worked with Ron on the motorcycles for three years at Ottawa Police. We drove together all the time and he was had a calm demeanor with the public and treated them fairly. Great sense of humour and I respected Ron. He spoke proudly of his family. He will be missed by his family and all his O.P.S. friends.

Dear Paula and family my thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences on Ron's passing. It had been several years since last contact after both our retirements in 2012 but I hold many cherished memories from our time working together on the Centertown ERU and time visiting with you Paula in Smith Falls and trips to the family cottage with Ron, of course his stories of your family. especially the kids.
Ron had a great laugh and a sneaky smile about him and was always there backing me up when needed and vice versus, he certainly was the calming element to our partnership and I wish I could have had the chance to say good bye.
All my love to your family may he rest in Gods arms.

I’m so sorry to hear about Ron’s passing. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Although I haven’t seen Ron in many years, we go way back to grade 1 at Harper Condie School. We grew up together in the same neighbourhood, so I have many fond memories of him.
Sincerely,
