June Elizabeth Rutherford passed peacefully with the love of her family on February 4, 2025.  She was predeceased by her beloved parents Jim and Iola Rutherford (nee Clark) and her nephew Lorne.  Dear sister of Donald (Darlene) Rutherford and cherished Aunt to Lisa.  A retired teacher, June spent her life farming and enjoying the fields and her flowerbeds.  She looks forward to being reunited with her dearly loved dogs Teddy, Stein and Prince.  June was an intellect receiving her B.A. from Queens.  She was a feisty Gemini, intellectually curious, quick witted, and had a passion for large words matched only by her love of roses.  

A special thank you to all of the nurses that cared for her, Dr. Eberhard, and especially to Lisa for all the love and compassion.

A graveside service will take place at Highland Line Cemetery, Saturday, May 3rd, at 11:00 A.M., followed by a reception at Timber Run Golf Course in Lanark at approximately 12:00 P.M.  Everyone is welcome. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
