Obituary of Gail Dorothy Sawdon (nee Buker)

Gail passed away peacefully at the Perth Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday February 5^th, 2025 at the age of 75. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald “Gerry” Sawdon. Gail was the loving mother of Christopher (Shannon) Dobbie and Dale (Cheryl) Dobbie, and the cherished grandmother of Nicholas Dobbie, Brooklyn Dobbie, Stephanie (Andrew), and Jenna (Chad). She was the treasured great-grandmother of Domonick, Eric, Jocelyn, Avery and Tanner. Gail will be sadly missed by her siblings Eleanor (Harry) Adrain, Donnie (Sheila) Buker, Lorraine (late Will) Dunn, Marion (Randy) Murphy, and Jeanette (Ron) Buker. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth, on Monday, February 10^th, 2025 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Gail’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, February 11^th, 2025 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Lions Hall in Perth. In honour of Gail, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society of L.L.G. or any Charity of Your Choice would be greatly appreciated.
