Our sincerer sympathy to Gordie and Debbie's family. When Debbie was in good heaths she would arrive with her scooter to St Paul's United Church. Over the years Debbie sang in the Gospel Choir, attended Unit 4 UVW and Y& R. She loved getting dresses up at Hallowe'en. Debbie so enjoyed being "Feathers" the clown. One year at the Lodge she participated in the World Day of Prayer. Debbie enjoyed dancing and attending Social events. Debbie enjoyed parties. which her friends would help her to host. Debbie was a special slice of our lives. We will miss her.

My Sincere Sympathy to all of Debbie’s Family
She was one of a kind with a warm heart. Attended PDCI with Deb and then later acquainted with her again during my employment at Lanark Lodge. I would always say to her, if you don’t slow down on that scooter of yours, you will end up with a speeding ticket. She would laugh and say that’s the only time I get to move really fast.

I met Debbie when I was 10 years old. She started the giggles club at St. John Elementary school where she would come and teach us kids how to be a clown. 16 years later, I have now worked at Lanark Lodge for 8. During those years I got to share memories and laughs with Deb. The lodge won’t be the same without her clowning around. We will miss you Feathers

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Debbie. She was a cherished friend of my late mother, and I have fond memories of her from my childhood in Perth. My mom often shared hilarious stories of their (often mischievous) adventures as children and teenagers, and Debbie had a remarkable way of bringing joy and laughter into her life, even as time went on. Her spirit will remain in our hearts. Sending my deepest condolences to her family and friends.
