Obituary of Deborah Anne Wilson

Wilson, Deborah A. (nee Johnstone)

February 6^th, 1950 – February 15^th, 2025

Deborah passed away in the Perth hospital on Saturday February 15^th, 2025.  She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Millie Johnstone and brother Michael Johnstone.  She will be sadly missed by her family including her son Gordie, brother Stanley (Judith) Johnstone, niece Michelle (Steven) Kwan, nephew Jordan (Faria) Johnstone, cousins Jim (late Sue) Johnstone, Jerrie (Rick) vanGelder and several great nieces and nephews.  Deborah will be fondly remembered by her longtime friend Eleanor Piette, many friends and acquaintances.  Despite her personal health challenges, she devoted her life to helping others, many of whom were fellow residents at Lanark Lodge during her 20 years of residence.  Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. Perth on Monday February 24^th, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until service in the chapel at 10:30 A.M.  The interment will be held later, she will be placed with her parents in Elmwood Cemetery.  In remembrance, memorial donations to the Memorial Fund of Lanark Lodge or the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Deborah’s family wish to thank all everyone involved at Lanark Lodge for compassionate care she received over the past 20 years.
