Obituary of Jim Bourns

Bourns, Thomas James

February 11, 1949 – February 16, 2025

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas James (Jim) Bourns on February 16th, 2025, at the age of 76. Jim was born in Perth, Ontario to Isobel and William Bourns on February 11th, 1949. Throughout his childhood and most of his adult life he lived on the family farm at Otty Lake. He had a long and productive work life with the Town of Perth where he made many friends. He leaves behind his siblings, Mary, Bob and Bill, sister-in-law, Colleen and nephews, Ryan and Steven. He was predeceased by both his parents and his siblings, Jean and George.

A memorial service will be held in the Blair & Son Family Reception Centre, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. with sharing of memories at 2:30 P.M.  Interment at Rideau Ferry Cemetery at 4:30 P.M.
