Dear Syd, Kathryn, James and all your families,
I am so saddened to hear of Anne's passing. I know she was the centre of your family, your sun around which the planets orbited. Anne was a light for all of us at St. John's too. Her strength and calmness drew us to her.
For me personally, she was a gentle supporter during times when life was tumultuous. She understood and gave me her shoulder to lean on when I needed it.
"God is Love, and whoever abides in love, abides in God, and God abides in her." John 4:16 This is her legacy.
This is the time of great loss and you feel great sorrow. That loss will not change, but as time passes, may you find gentle happiness in the good memories of your time with Anne.
