Obituary of Paul Herbert Nagle

Nagle, Paul Herbert

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Herbert Nagle, affectionately known as “Buck,” on March 27th, 2025 at the age of 69. A devoted family man, Buck made the courageous decision to enter long-term care when he knew the time was right, having lived independently for as long as he could. True to his nature, he faced this next chapter of life with grace, humor, and the same unwavering strength he carried throughout his years.

Buck’s greatest pride and joy in life was his family. His wife Yvonne, his sons, John Paul (Tiffany) and Robbie (Desarae) and his cherished grandsons, Jaxon, Tyson and Ethan, who brought endless happiness to his days. Nothing made him prouder than knowing his grandsons would carry on the family name. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend Rick Bowes, and by his siblings Anne Marie, Peter, and Tom, and by his nephew Christopher. .  Paul was predeceased by his parents John and Ruth (Taylor) Nagle, his sister Joan and brother Jerry.

A man of integrity, kindness, and quick wit, Buck was the kind of gentleman who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He is now reunited with those who have gone before him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family wish to thank all the staff of the Honeysuckle Haven wing at Lanark Lodge for their compassion, care and support over the last number of years.

Friends may visit with the family at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John’s Catholic Church, 38 Wilson St. E., Perth on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at St. John’s Parish Cemetery. In honour of Buck, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the family kindly asks that you share a story, a laugh, or a toast in his honor—just as he would have wanted.

Rest easy, Buck. Your legacy lives on.
