Mijn naam is Ellen Soerel.en ben de dochter van Erna (het jongere zusje van Hanny) en (Wil)Fred Soerel. Hanny heb ik helaas maar één keer ontmoet bij de andere zus van Hanny; Roos. Van deze ontmoeting herinner me ik me nog goed hoeveel gelijkenis Hanny met mijn overleden moeder Erna had. Ik wens jullie heel sterkte met het verlies van jullie dierbare Hanny. My sincere condolences to Ian, Mark, Karen and family on the passing of tante Hanny. I have fond memories of visiting oom Jan and tante Hanny in Smith Falls. She was always a cheerful and welcoming aunt, a kind and warm person. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I was a Rotary Exchange student from Western Australia in 1983 and stayed with your Mum & Dad for 3 months when I first arrived in Smiths Falls.
