Obituary of Donna Marie Edwards

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Edwards, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the age of 63.  She was born on September 19th, 1961, in Smiths Falls. Donna was predeceased by her parents Garnet and Sheila (nee Balance) Edwards and her partner Hal McDougall. She was a loving devoted mother to Justin Vlanich (Ravyn), Megan Vlanich (Steve), Kaitland Jones (Nigel), Ryne Vlanich, Jonathan Vlanich, and Rachael Vlanich (Josh). Cherished grandmother to Tyler, Erica and Kenny (Justin), Ilene (Megan), Joshua and Adam (Katie), Aria and Riley (Ryne), Ellie, Emerson and Everett (Rachael). Donna will be dearly missed by her siblings Dianne (Mike), Jerry (Angie), and Sheila (Paul), as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Donna will always be remembered for being the rock for her children, family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son, Smiths Falls Chapel on Wednesday, April 23,2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service to celebrate Donna’s life at 12 noon.  Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
