Obituary of Helene Mary Christina Chapman

Passed away peacefully at Lanark Lodge in Perth on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the age of 87.  Helene was the beloved wife and best friend of Arnold for more than 59 years.  Loving and devoted mother of David (Julia), Paul and Keith (Kathryn) Chapman.  Loving grandmother of Matthew, Justine, Robert, Jacob, Isaac, Marshall and Ella. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Dianna (late Russell) Fleming, her many nieces, nephews, extended family, along with Darlene Chapman and so many others. Helene was also predeceased by her parents Ernest and Jeanette (nee Saunders) Sansome, as well as her siblings, David (Sheila) Sansome, Donald (Jenny Lou) Sansome and Marion Ruth Sansome.  Helene’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the medical and support staff at Lanark Lodge and Van Horne Manor for their exceptional care for Helene. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment will take place at Maple Vale Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Lanark Lodge or the Salvation Army.
