Paul Tysick Obituary

Paul Everton Tysick passed away peacefully with family by his side at St. Patrick's Home of Ottawa on April 23, 2025 at age 78.  He was the beloved son of Clarence & Doreen (Ferguson) Tysick of Smiths Falls.  Cherished brother of Dale Tysick(Nancy) of Edmonton and Mary Brown(Glen) of Ottawa.  Special Uncle to Joshua(Cara), Jacob, Allison(Brett) and Bethany(Nick).
Paul was a fighter at heart and he faced numerous health challenges with resilience and grace.  Paul loved to play cards and just as in life, he was not always dealt the best hand.  However, he played his best with what he'd been given without a complaint and often with that special twinkle in his eye and grin on his face.
Heartfelt thanks to the supportive and caring staff at St. Patrick's Home, especially Dr. Levine, Jill, Tsehaye and the Cavan home care team where Paul called home for the last 8+ years.  Thanks to Mathieu and the evening RN team for their daily evening care.  Special thanks to AnnMarie RN who tended to Paul's home care for many years in Kingston where he lived most of his adult life.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. followed by the service in the Chapel at 11:00 A.M.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
