Franziska, Doug and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences. I have always valued Hans’ opinion and knowledge with matters pertaining to the natural environment. Over the years, as I got to know Hans, I found that he was a true renaissance man as his knowledge encompassed many things and areas of interest. I truly valued his friendship. He will be missed.
