We were sorry but not surprised to hear of the death of Mary via Betty. 100 years young with a very full life! Mary was our camp cook for many years, she thought she had retired when our Dining hall burned to the ground three days before feeding 320 people! Mary said - that day! “Don’t worry, I will be back next year to help set up the new kitchen”, which her son in law, Herbie built the next Winter! That Summer was tougher than normal due to three portable, make shift kitchens, Mary just went with it and provided great meals! I will never forget her on boiling hot July days after putting in a full day, saying I have to go help get the hay in! What a force. A pleasure to know Mary and her family.
