Obituary of Roger Henry Meunier

Meunier, Roger Henry

January 13, 1941 – May 23, 2025

Roger passed away at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Friday, May 23, 2025 with his family by his side following his battle with Parkinson and Dementia.

Roger leaves behind his partner of many years, Barbara Beadle, Barbara’s children, Christopher (Teri), David (Aurora), Ken (Megan) and their children Amy, Stewart and Owen.  He was a wonderful step-father and step-grandfather.

He will be sadly missed by Barbara’s sister Marjorie (Randy) Rogers and her children Joshua and Casey, his brother-in-law Glenn (Roxanne), Robert Mitchell and Barry Rogers.  Roger will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, especially his niece Nicole (Jeff) Hunter, many friends and his co-workers. The PSW’s and nurses and doctors at Lanark Lodge who took care of him for the last 44 days will miss his smile, stories and laughter.  Thank you for his care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lanark Royal Canadian Legion on Sunday June 29, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Society or Lanark Animal Welfare Society would be appreciated.
