I was deeply saddened to hear of Dwain’s passing. He was not only a great mentor and boss during the Tay Building Centre days, but also someone whose support left a lasting mark on my career. His willingness to give me the opportunity to create house plans helped set me on the path to a lifelong journey in building design.
It feels like just yesterday that we first met—when I was selling bicycles to Daryl and Dawn at my father’s Texaco station. At TBC, Dwain and I shared more than a few adventures, many of which I still recall and reference to this day.
To Isabel, Daryl, Dawn, and your families, please accept my heartfelt condolences.
