Obituary of Eileen Estelle Harvey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Estelle Harvey, peacefully at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of 91. Eileen was the beloved wife to Robert Harvey. She was the loving and devoted mother to Daniel, a cherished grandmother to Christopher (Julie) Harvey and Eric Harvey and a proud great-grandmother to Jade and Mia. Left to mourn this loss is her dear sister Trudy/Babe. She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Florence Locke, by her son Bryan and her siblings Roy, Jackie and Carol. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her nieces and nephews and all who loved her.

Eileen proudly worked at RCA for many years as well as at the Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club. Eileen and Rube spent many winters in Florida playing golf and enjoying the warm weather. Eileen enjoyed her card games, bingo nights and her bridge club. Eileen will be dearly missed by Susan, Helen & Joan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment, St. Francis de Sales Columbarium.  In remembrance, donations may be made to the St. Francis de Sales Church Building Maintenance Fund or the Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville.  Funeral arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls.
