Harold was born in Lanark and spent his childhood and most of his adult life there before moving to Perth. In his younger years, Harold could be found at numerous local fairs helping and being a part of the local horse draws as he always had a love for horses. Harold was well known to many people in Perth as he drove the local taxi for many years while living in Perth. Being a child in a family of 12, Harold valued and respected family. As his siblings passed on he continued to keep in touch with his nephews and nieces by visits and calls, always interested in their updates on what they were doing and how their families were. He will be missed by many.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Perth Community Care Centre (PCCC) who truly cared for Harold. Donations would be appreciated to Perth Community Care Centre.
