Tovey, Kevin Peter
December 5, 1960 – June 19, 2025
After complications with diabetes, Kevin left this earth much too soon. He is predeceased by his father, Patrick Tovey, sister, Deborah Bonselaar (Dick), and brother-in-law, Dan Belleau (Cathy Tovey). He will be missed by his mother, Bertha Tovey, and siblings, Steven Tovey, Cheryl Tovey, Cathy Tovey, Patsy Ikert (Stephen) and Tanya Francom (Andrew), and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his friend and housemate, David Watt.
Kevin had a big heart and loved his family and friends, who nicknamed him Clem. He loved to read, enjoyed Tuesday night bingo on the radio, and preferred hot summer days to cold winter ones. He often had a smile and a chuckle.
A graveside service will be held at St John’s Parish Cemetery, Drummond Concession 1, Perth on Friday, August 1st, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Lounge, 26 Beckwith St, Perth, ON. Please join us at the reception even if you are not attending the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
