Stewart, Mildred Christine R.N.
Peacefully at Perth Community Care Centre, Mid passed away on July 3rd, 2025, just shy of her 90th birthday. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Isobell (late Nick Shkor), Doug (Mary Ellen), Vivian (Garry Munroe), and Linda (late Barry Montgomery). Mid is predeceased by her parents Emma and Herb Stewart, and by her siblings George (Isobel), Thelma, Stan (Val), Dorothy (Leo), Reggie (Barb), Harold (Gwen), Sam (Donna), Gwen (Don) and Patsy (Don). She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends. Mid was a dedicated R.N. maternity care specialist who loved her career and loved to travel. She was an enthusiastic Blue Jays fan and a devoted cadet with the Salvation Army for over 80 years.
The family wish to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at Perth Community Care for their compassion, care and support over the last few years.
Friends are invited to join the family for Mid’s funeral ceremony at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Monday, July 7th, 2025, at 2:00pm with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
