Obituary of Stephen William Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald, Stephen William 

April 10th, 1960 ~ July 4th, 2025

Stephen passed away suddenly in Perth, Ontario on Friday July 4th, 2025 in his 66th year.

He was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Mary (Carroll) Fitzgerald.  Stephen was married to Jennifer Dobbyn Fitzgerald for 23 years residing in Cornwall, Ontario.  He was very proud of his three sons Tyler, Samuel and Riley Fitzgerald.

Stephen was one of seven siblings raised in Perth, Ontario.  He will be remembered by Debbie (Tom) Paolini, Linda (Harry) VanAlstine, Joan (Don) Smith, Christine (Paul) Lewis, Richard (Madeline) Fitzgerald and James Fitzgerald.  He will be fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews and family.

Stephen started his career as a carpenter then as a paramedic before opening his used car dealership, Stephen Fitzgerald Motors in Cornwall, Ontario.  He was proud of his business and enjoyed selling to many customers near and far.  He was in the process of winding down his business.

Stephen will be remembered for his easy smile and his teasing of his many friends and family.

Friends may pay their respects at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St, Cornwall on Thursday July 17th, 2025 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M.
