Predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Wilma Majuary. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, James Hay. She leaves behind her children; Keith (Julie), Brian (Jackie), Christopher (Linda) and Jennifer (Cory). She will be sadly missed by her twelve grandchildren; Matthew, Kaitlin, Lauren, Ashley, Hannah, Joey, Owen, Ariel, Ava, Ilias, Elora and Adaya and great grandchild; Thomas James. Nancy also leaves to mourn her eldest and youngest sisters, Shirley (late Elwin) and Linda (Hank) and is predeceased by her sisters, the late Arlene (late Martin), Donna (late Denver) and Judy (Bernard) as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Lastly, Nancy leaves behind her beloved furry pal, Sadie. A special thank you to Sheila for providing care for Sadie throughout Nancy's illness.
Nancy was born in Perth Ontario and attended school in her hometown. She spent her working career living in Stittsville working for the federal government. Just prior to retirement, she was able to return to her childhood home where she dedicated her retirement life to her grandchildren and simple pleasures such as gardening, swimming, baking and staying active.
It was important to Nancy to gather her entire family several times a year. Her family cherishes the many memories they made together and Nancy's dedication to these gatherings instilled the core values of family life and love that will continue to bond them together.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Smiths Falls Hospital, the Kingston General Hospital and her family doctor, Dr. Kennie for the excellent care and services provided.
The family will welcome visitors at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W, Perth on Monday July 21st, 2025 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025 in the chapel at 10:00am followed by the interment at Prestonvale Cemetery, 1433 Prestonvale Rd, Lanark, ON.
