Obituary of David Blinkhorn

Peacefully, at Maple View Lodge in Athens, on Thursday, July 24, 2025, William David Blinkhorn, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Whitmore). Loving father of Alison Landon (Mike), and Jim Blinkhorn (Meredith). Predeceased by his son John, daughter Karen, parents Jim and Julia Blinkhorn and in-laws William and Mary Whitmore.  Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jordan Landon (Caroline) and Emily Landon. Precious Grandad to his beloved great-granddaughter, Aubrey Landon.

Special thanks to the staff at Maple View Lodge and to Tony and Karen Gunn for their unwavering love and support these past months. Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Newboyne on Wednesday, July 30 at 11 a.m. Followed by a reception at St. Andrew’s United Church Hall, Toledo. In memory of Dave, donations to University of Ottawa Heart Institute or Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
