HENRIETTE ÉMILIE LARABIE (née Lévesque)

I was born on July 4, 1935, in Casselman, Ontario. My parents were Emilien and Emma Lévesque. I had two beautiful sisters, Lucille and Pauline, who have already passed, and a handsome brother Henri, who was a gift on my third birthday. I left this world peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

I had the pleasure of being married to Léon Aurèle (Larry) Larabie for 25 years. Through Larry, I became a happy member of a large extended family, gaining an additional four brothers and three sisters. We were gratefully blessed with three wonderful sons: François, Jean Claude and Martin, affectionately known as Frank, JC and Marty. Together, they gave me the gift of nine beautiful grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, Steven, Paul, Kelly, Samantha, Malcolm, Rick and Judy and a great-grandchild, Finn. They were all the loves of my life.

I have chosen to return to my family roots by having my ashes interred at the family grave in Casselman at a later date. If you would like to honor my memory, please make a donation to a charity that is meaningful to you.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Blair & Son Funeral Home located at 15 Gore Street West, Perth, Ontario, K7H 2L7.

Je suis née le 4 juillet 1935 à Casselman, Ontario. Mes parents étaient Émilien et Emma Lévesque. J’ai eu deux soeurs merveilleuses, Lucille et Pauline, qui sont déjà décédées, et un frère formidable, Henri, qui a été un cadeau d’anniversaire pour mes trois ans.

Pendant 25 ans, j’ai eu le bonheur d’être mariée à Léon Aurèle (Larry) Larabie. Grâce à lui, j’ai été heureuse de faire partie d’une grande famille élargie, gagnant quatre frères et trois soeurs de plus. Nous avons été profondément reconnaissants d’avoir trois fils merveilleux : François, Jean-Claude et Martin, affectueusement appelés Frank, JC et Marty. À leur tour, ils m’ont fait cadeau de neuf beaux petits-enfants : Andrew, Matthew, Steven, Paul, Kelly, Samantha, Malcolm, Rick et Judy et d'un arrière-petit-fils, Finn. Ils étaient tous les amours de ma vie.

J’ai choisi de retourner à mes racines familiales en faisant enterrer mes cendres dans la sépulture familiale à Casselman, à une date ultérieure. Si vous souhaitez honorer ma mémoire, veuillez faire un don à un organisme de bienfaisance qui vous tient à coeur.
