Obituary of Doug Yeo

(Retired - Hydro One after 45 years of dedicated service)
With heavy hearts we announce Doug’s sudden passing on Monday, August 4, 2025 at the age of 78.  Beloved husband and soulmate of Margaret (Hanrahan) Yeo.  Loved father of Rob Yeo and Jenni (Rowan) Widdison, stepfather and golf buddie of Mike Stergiou.  Loving grampy to Rhys and Isobel Widdison.  Dear brother of Marilyn (Bill) Stevens, Sherman (Tami) Yeo, and Karen (Karl) Hammil and brother-in-law of Tom Hanrahan (Susan), Paul Hanrahan (Swanny) and Louise James (Greg).  Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.  Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Jean Yeo.  Special thanks to Jason and Tammy Peckham and the paramedics who came to Doug’s aid, your kindness and unwavering support will never be forgotten.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Friday, August, 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the service and celebration of life in the chapel at 12:00 noon.  A reception will follow with interment taking place afterward at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Lombardy.  In memory of Doug, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Epilepsy Foundation would be appreciated.
