Joyce, we are so sorry to hear of Toy's passing. Tony was an incredible person and we enjoyed all his phone calls. We will never forget our visit to your home in Balderson. I am Paul Gordon from Perth an old friend of Tony's.We were both born in 1950.I believe I was a month older and we both attended St.John's School in grade 1 and attended St. John's throughout the years. My condolences go out to the Irvin family as we were all friends.John and my bro Ron Gordon were very good friends as well as Tony, Mike and I.Frank his dad who fought in the First World War was a very good friend of my grandfather/father James Bowes.Tony'a mother was delightful as she was very kind to all of the kids that played baseball behind their home and treated us with tenderness and patience.I believe that she was from Holland.My mom Rita Gordon was friends with Frank and his wife as well.My sister formerly Sherry Gordon was close friends with the Irvin Family also.This announcement has saddened me.I will attend the remembrance ceremony and my heart goes out to all of Tony's family and close acquaintances.Please Tony rest in peace.
