Obituary of Winston Lorne King

Winston passed away in Perth hospital with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025.  He was the loved husband to Kathleen (nee Sergeant)  for nearly 61 years. Cherished father to Kevin King and Derek (Tracy) King and very proud grandfather to Brayden (Anika Wilson) King and Siobhan (Dustin) Bell. Winston was predeceased by his parents Archie and Minola (Hart) King, his siblings Jimmy (late Dorothy) King, Kenny (late Hazel) King, Edythe (late Thorpe) Moulton, Mildred (Barrie) Kerr-Brennan and Arthur King. He will be sadly missed by Kathy's relatives and all their extended family and friends.
The family would like to acknowledge with heartfelt gratitude the amazing care provided by the nurses of the second and third floors at the Perth hospital, the palliative care nurses and Dr. Liu, Dr. Wahay and Dr Simpson!
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. followed by a service in the Chapel at 11:00 A.M. A reception will follow in the Blair & Son Family Reception Centre.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Perth. In remembrance of Winston, donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation - Perth Site or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
