With great sadness, we say goodbye to William Howard Code (Bill), who passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, August 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family, just as he wished. He was 70 years old and faced his battle with cancer with great courage.

Bill was the beloved life partner of over 40 years to Bonnie Cameron, and a devoted father to Bailey (Brad) Anderson and Broc. He was the proud and loving “Papa” to his grandchildren, Harper and Beau.

He was a son of the late W. Earl Code and Marian W. Morris and is survived by his siblings Rae (Shirley) Code, Harold (Gail) Code, and Gloria (Stuart) McIntosh. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Bill was an avid Powersports enthusiast, particularly the YAMAHA variety, while also sharing a huge passion for Classic vehicles. Beyond everything he was always ready for an adventure or to blaze a new trail. He built both his log home and log cottage by hand and treasured many summers spent at Bob’s Lake. Known to many as “Willy,” Bill retired from Carleton Place Marine after more than 47 years of dedicated work that he truly loved.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Cancer Wing at Ottawa General Hospital, the nurses and staff of Bayshore Home Health Care, and his family Doctor for the care and compassion they provided.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Code family farm, 188 The Old Road, Perth on October 11th, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. We invite everyone to join us in sharing stories, laughter, and good cheer in Bill’s memory. Light refreshments will be served. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth.
