Obituary of Seta DeFrancesco
Seta passed away peacefully on Friday September 5th, 2025 at Lanark Lodge, Perth following a long battle with advanced vascular dementia. Her husband and life partner of 53 years, Bernie, was at her side. Seta was predeceased by her parents Ana and Toros DerSarkissian as well as her older sister and brother-in-law Sonia and Garo Alexanian. Bernie and Seta’s son and daughter-in-law Joe and Melinda are also saddened by the loss of a loving and doting Mother.
Following their retirements, Bernie and Seta moved from Montreal to Carleton Place where they spent over 20 years in the community and subsequently moved to Perth as a result of Mary’s illness. The services are being held privately for the family and Seta will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery, Perth. In remembrance, memorial donations to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital or the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
