My deepest and sincerest sympathy to all of the King Family. Marjorie was a beautiful person, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. I always felt so welcomed whenever I was visiting or staying with Connie, going to dances, regattas, skiing down that big hill, playing cards, so many fun times and wonderful memories. I'm sorry to hear of Marjorie passing. She was such a lovely and inspiring lady. I rented from her 19 years ago and she told me about Cecil having been the last born in that house. While I was pregnant there I got to talking to a man one day who was standing in the river fishing, before the conversation ended, I asked him his name, he said Cecil. I had no doubt in my mind that it was Marjorie's Cecil that I had been talking with, despite having been long passed. I later gave birth to my daughter in that same house. My condolences to the family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Marjorie's passing. My heartfelt condolences to all of the King family. She was a wonderful neighbour, and such a kind soul to everyone she met. Many years ago I spent an afternoon with her talking about local history and the Hopetown School. I have never forgotten that wonderful day. Thinking of you.
