Obituary of Bruno Patti

Passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the age of 96.  Beloved husband and best friend of the late Patricia (nee Caron).  Loving and devoted father of Michael Patti, (Judith Robertson), Janet (Cam) Burchill and John Patti (Francine Viau). Cherished grandfather of Nina Patti (Devin Dutt), Elizabeth Patti (Samantha Kilpatrick), Jason Burchill, Jenna (Chris) Gladden, and Alex and Nicholas Patti, and proud great-grandfather of Carson, Raya and Kynlee.  Bruno is predeceased by his brother Ben (the late Eva) Patti and by his sister Annette (the late Wallace) Leblanc. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Bruno was a proud longtime employee at RCA Victor, and following his time at the plant he purchased Rideau Cleaners in Smiths Falls.  In retirement, Bruno was always keeping busy volunteering for the Smiths Falls Lions Club and was one of the oldest members at the Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club.  He was also able to keep his mind extremely sharp by being an active Bridge player, both in the community as well as on his computer.  There will be a private graveside service for the family at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery at a later date.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Lanark County Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society. 

Bruno's family also sadly announce the passing of his son Micheal Patti, on Friday, September 12, 2025, the following day after Bruno's passing. Michael's obituary can be found below.  All are welcome to gather for a sharing of memories for Bruno and Michael at Blair & Son Funeral Home, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 3 p.m. Following the sharing of memories, all are welcome to stay for a reception celebrating the lives of both Bruno and Michael.
