Obituary of Jerry Kean

Jerry passed away suddenly in the Ottawa Hospital on September 13, 2025, at the age of 69 with his wife, Karen by his side. He leaves to mourn his loss his cherished wife, Karen Kean. He was the loving father of Jerry Kean Jr and Shane Kean. Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Florence and Jack, and by his siblings, Donnie Kean, Brian Kean, Bobby Kean, and Bev Wynn Jones (Phil). He will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Diane Skimmings (Bruce), Kathy Kean, Sharon Dan and Brenda Kean. Jerry will be sadly missed by his brothers in law, Glen Dixon, Allie (Susan) Dixon, Garry Dixon (Marie), as well as his sister-in-law, Debbie (Paul) Barrie, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, family and friends are welcomed to join together at Elmwood Cemetery for a graveside service on Tuesday, September 23rd at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to L.A.W.S. or to a charity of choice in Jerry’s memory.
