Obituary of Brian Vlanich

Passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 72.  Loving father of Justin (Ravyn), Megan (Steve), Katie (Nigel), Ryne, Jonathan and Rachael (Josh).  Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Erica, Kenny, Ilene, Joshua, Adam Aria, Riley, Ellie, Emerson and Everett.  Brian is predeceased by his parents Lazarus and Eunice (nee Fair) Vlanich.  He will be fondly remembered for loving three things in life; his kids, his grand kids, and hockey.  He always loved spending time in the outdoors by the campfire, and was a wonderful cook. He will be sadly missed by those that knew him.  Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 12 o’clock.  All are invited to come to Brian's service sporting their favourite hockey jersey. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
