Obituary of Angela Grace Dezan

Passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the age 46.  Loving daughter of Kathy Mulligan and her late father Peter Mulligan.  Cherished sister of Laura (Dennis) Lott. She will be sadly missed by her aunt Mary Dezan and her uncle David (Linda) Dezan and her aunt Maxine Malloy, Aunt Libby (Mario) Grenier, and Aunt Judy (Robert) Rabideau.  She will be fondly remembered by her many cousins, extended family as well as her friends and residents at the group home. Angela was a remarkable person who lived life with courage and at the time of her birth she was only expected to live until the age of 5.  Her family would like to thank residents and staff at her group home in Almonte and for the last 17 years she resided at the Mills group home in Smiths Falls.  Due to everyone’s efforts, Angela had a wonderful quality of life and lived life to fullest. In her final days, the family would like to extend a thank you for the wonderful care from the doctors and medical staff at the Smiths Falls Hospital. There will be private cremation arrangements taking place at a later date.  If desired, memorial contributions to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation – Smiths Falls Site or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
