So sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. Jan was a wonderful and caring woman. When we were in Florida visiting Sue, Jan and Peter would have us over to their place for a fabulous dinner. Jan will be missed by many.

Peter and Jan have been part of lives pretty much since I was born. I have wonderful memories of both them and love both of them dearly. One of my fondest childhood memories was going to Florida with Dad and meeting Jan and Peter in Fort Lauderdale. Dad crushing pecans with his hands, boating with Peter and Jan and just hanging around with them, which was still oddly fun for an 8 year old in 1970. You will be missed Jan.

She was a grand lady who will be missed by our family and so many more. Aunt Janice lived her life with grace, strength, and a generosity that touched everyone around her. Dear Peter, Sandra, Suzanne, Stirling et al: My heart hurts for each of you. Certainly, the world seems a little diminished and a bit impossible to imagine without the hearth that was Janice.
