Obituary of Edith Jarvis

Edith Jarvis passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dick (Richard) Jarvis, on September 24, 2016.

Edith was a devoted mother to her sons, Wayne (Shirley) and Darryl (Sandy). She was a cherished grandmother to Denise (Will), Tracey (Steph), Darrin (Karen), Rick (Lorelie), and Tanya. Edith was also the proud great-grandmother of Payton, Bryan, Pierce, Maelle, Josh, Dylan, and Elliot.

Edith was predeceased by her siblings Jack, Mac, Nadine, Isabel, Elva, Norma, and Eldon.

She will be remembered with love by her sisters-in-law, Grace and Gloria, and by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her nieces, Susan and Debra, as well as to her close friends and neighbours, Joe, Mitch, Tim, and Shane, for the care, kindness, and love that they showed Edith throughout her life.

Her legacy of warmth, strength, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

At the family's request, cremation has taken place. In memory of Edith, memorial contributions to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
