Obituary of Jacqueline Piquette
C’est avec grande tristesse que Chantal Piquette annonce le décès de sa Belle Maman d’Amour, Jacqueline Piquette (née Poirier) le 25 septembre 2025 à Perth, Ontario à la maison entourée de ses chers minous.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sa soeur Desanges Raymond (feu Gérard). Elle est en fin réunie avec son mari bien-aimé Gerry; ses parents, Donat Poirier et Eva (née Gagnon); ses soeurs et beaux-frères, Jeanine Poirier, Paulette Paquette (Léonard), Réjeanne Cholette (Ray), Reine-Aimée Lafond (Jean-Yves), Marie-Claire Poirier; et son frère Robert Poirier.
Elle restera tendrement gravée dans la mémoire de plusieurs neveux et nièces, et petits neveux et petites nièces, ainsi que ses anciens et anciennes collègues, élèves, et amis.
Chantal et les “poilus” auront de la difficulté à combler le vide laissé par son départ. Un grand merci à Santé à domicile Ontario; la Société d’Alzheimer de Lanark Leeds Grenville; CommuniCare Therapy; et les soins de préposé aux services de soutien à la personne, et les services de soins infirmiers de Bayshore HealthCare.

It is with profound sadness that Chantal Piquette announces the passing of her beloved Mother, Jacqueline Piquette (née Poirier) on September 25, 2025, at home in Perth, Ontario surrounded by her beloved cats.
She leaves behind her sister Desanges Raymond, wife of the late Gérard Raymond. She is finally reunited with her dear husband Gerry; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jeanine Poirier, Paulette Paquette (Léonard), Réjeanne Cholette (Ray), Reine-Aimée Lafond (Jean-Yves), Marie-Claire Poirier, and brother Robert Poirier.
She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, as well as her former colleagues, students, and friends.
Chantal and the furries will struggle to fill the void she leaves behind. Many thanks to Ontario Health at Home; the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville; CommuniCare Therapy; and the PSW and Nursing care provided by Bayshore HealthCare.
