“Your wings were ready, our hearts were not”

On Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, Mike spent the day doing the things he loved the most. Drowning worms on a lake in a boat, telling tall tales, basking in the sunlight, sharing a great meal and more stories. It was a perfect day. On Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, we suddenly said goodbye to our Mike who loved deeply and was deeply loved. “That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much.”

Mike was the beloved husband of Evelyn; loving father of Rick, Matt and Angie, Jason and Vicki and Tina; proud Poppa of Madison, Victoria Olivia, Jakub, Matt, Shawna and Chase, Jaret, Summer and Scarlett and great grand Poppa to Paisley, Christian, Avah, Maddy, and Kingston. He was predeceased by his parents Roger and Jacquline, brother Ray, his wife Doris, brother-in-law Kevin and is survived by his sister Joscelynne. He was loved and will be missed by the Walker Family.

A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. in the Unifor Hall, 364 Victoria St., Ingersoll Ontario. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
