Obituary of Josephine Patricia Evoy

Passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre Smiths Falls with her family by her side on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the age of 86. Beloved wife for over 66 years of William G. ‘Bill’ Evoy. Loving mother of Lee and Lisa Stewart (Ron). Predeceased by parents Bartholomew and Catherine (Coughlin) Hughes and sisters Kathleen Hughes, Elizabeth (Betty) Warmington, Muriel Baker and brother Joseph in infancy. Fondly remembered by her extended family, friends and church parishioners. Family and friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church Smiths Falls on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. In memory of Josephine donations to St. Francis de Sales Church Building Fund, or the Broadview Nursing Centre Residents Activity Fund would be appreciated.
