Dear Jim and Pam, Mary, George and McGregor and Oliver families.
Don and I are saddened to learn of Betty's passing. We offer our sincere condolences to all of you.
Betty was one of the last of her generation in the Balderson area and those of us who are of the next generation remember her for the wonderful woman she was. Her family is testament to the sincere, caring and hard working woman she was. Betty leaves so many memories of a live well lived in service to her family and her community.

Jim & Pam, Mary & George, and all your family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of such a wonderful lady. Betty and Howard were friends and neighbours from my earliest memories, and she and my Mom continued as friends in their later years. She was certainly a pillar of the Balderson United congregation for as long as I can remember, just a quiet and unassuming worker and support over the years. So many of the 'old guard' are now gone, but I hope memories of a life well lived, and the knowledge that she was deeply respected will give you all comfort.

My sincere condolences to Jim & Pam, Mary and George and all the family. Betty was a great lady who sat in the pew behind me for many years at Balderson Church. First her and Howard and then just her. We had many great chats as she was also a Womens Institute member for years. Betty was the epitome of dignity and graciousness. A beautiful quiet lady who lived for the country farm and family. Will certainly miss her - my God keep her safe.
